Apex Coffee House

Coffee was great (unlike the coffee chain stores, the machine was clean too, very good). The carrot cake was fantastic and the dirty chai was lovely. Will definitely be coming back

Popped in for our first time today! Friendly and professional staff providing an efficient service! The coffees were lovely (very hot!) and the sausage roll I had was fresh and crispy! All good value too. The atmosphere was nice, although a little chilly; I think the aircon was on. Very neatly decorated and well maintained throughout; lots of attention to detail with decor and crockery. We absolutely will return, and will be sure to recommend. Thanks guys!

I accidentally found this absolute treasure while searching for a high capacity charger for my electric car. Which charges SUPER fast, btw! The cafe is modern, clean, the staff friendly, the coffee excellent. The cakes are ridiculously good. Lovely seating indoor or outside. Great WiFi too. Highly recommend as a destination cafe. For aviation enthusiasts, the 115 Squadron memorial sits in the garden. I happily return whenever I visit Ely.

Called in for a coffee morning. Staff very friendly plenty of seating inside and out. Coffee and cake was very good price. Will definitely be back.

Excellent coffee and sausage rolls in a really nice space. Clean, quiet and just down the road from services which looked awful. Was very happy to find this place! Really clean and modern toilet/baby changing facilities too.

Have stopped by a couple of times for coffee when walking to/from Ely. The coffee is always so nice as are the crispy sausage rolls. Today (8.30am) we were tempted by the Friday coffee and cake deal. Delicious as always. The team are always so friendly and polite. It is beautifully clean inside with a lovely outside seating area for those nicer days. Now this was a good find. Apex is a small independently run coffee shop located within the Lancaster Way business park in Witchford. It can be found by turning into the business park and following the road past the the Volvo yard and taking the next left turn and it is two hundred yards up the road on the left next to the child care business. Apex has its own designated car park with a dedicated disabled bay and there is also two charging points for your electric cars. Access for disabled is best made through the front door as this door has button control entry. There is also a covered cycle stand next to the carpark. Apex is modern and welcoming with a selection of seating arrangements to suit everyone. There is a selection of pastries,cakes and sandwiches/rolls available as well as a good selection of coffee and teas. Non dairy is also catered for and I noticed most of the cakes are gluten free. Coffee served was hot and a good quality as was the food. We were served by Sam on our visit and she was very polite and happy to help. Lastly the toilet facilities were outstandingly clean and impressively equipped for disabled and parents alike. This is well worth the two minute detour if you are a coffee or tea lover with a weakness for a cake or two. We will certainly be going back.

We absolutely love it here! The ladies that run it are always so friendly and welcoming, it's a great atmosphere and beautifully clean. The food is to die for, especially the cakes from the coffee and cake deal on a Friday - we can't get enough!
